Music for your memorial slideshow

Choose music that gives your family room to remember. Two instrumental piano recordings are included in the $149 service, and you can listen before you order.

Listen to the included music

On your private upload page, choose a track and select Use this music to save it to your order. The preview plays the source recording. Your finished tribute repeats or trims that recording to fit the photos, with a gentle fade at the beginning and end.

Use an audio file you provide

If your family prefers another recording, upload one MP3, WAV, or M4A file, up to 95 MB, and confirm that you have permission to include it in the video. We do not obtain permissions for custom songs. If you are unsure about a recording, choose an included track or a silent video.

Prepare one finished audio file. The service uses a single track, repeated or trimmed to the video’s length; it does not mix a playlist or synchronize individual photos to musical moments. Remove the current audio on the upload page before adding your own file.

A silent tribute is also an option

Select Make my video silent on your upload page. If no audio is selected, the video is silent. This can suit a gathering with live music or separate venue audio. Agree with the venue who will start and stop each source.

Check the sound before the gathering

Ask the venue to play the downloaded video through its actual speakers. Confirm the volume is comfortable from the back of the room, and check whether anything else will play at the same time. Use our playback checklist to prepare.

Music credits and permission

The creators published these recordings under CC0 1.0, which permits copying, adaptation, distribution, and commercial use without a required credit. Quiet Tribute provides AAC copies of those recordings. These credits acknowledge the creators; you do not need to add them to your tribute.
